"Shady Business Practices & Terrible Customer Service"
I ordered something online to pick up in store and once I picked it up I got an emailed receipt for double what I ordered. When I inquired about it, they told me it was an ongoing glitch but rest assured I was charged for the initial amount. I checked my bank statement and I was charged once on the day I made the order, & again for the same amount the day after I picked it up. I contacted them (took them FOREVER to respond ) & they told me I was wrong because they only charge upon pick up. I checked with my bank, and its not a pending transaction as the money left my account twice, so I showed them they AND THEY STILL HAD TO AUDACITY TO SAY I WAS WRONG. Now I have to escalate this which is so much added stress. There's a reason I haven't shopped here since highschool.

"Bunch of Scammers"

"I like them"
I'm sorry to the other reviewers because thus far I have not had a problem with this clothing store, garage/dynamite. I have purchased both in store and online, additionally with their customer service. They now have messenger through Facebook and that always works really great, they have been able to give me coupons and refunds as requested. Additionally my orders arrive relatively quickly even for regular shipping as I have never used express. I live in the east coast, very close to NYC, so maybe that's why. Not sure. I'm now going to be 22 and probably will not be able to fit their target audience soon. But I know the clothes I have purchased were expensive and will keep them for a long time. They have lasted me a while thus far and I choose to only buy basics here because a lot of their stuff could be a lot cheaper. The employees do give off that vibe but never as bad as Brandy Melville. Overall, I like this store and not sure why so many people had negative experiences. I hope to not have that moving forward.I am also on their loyalty account the free rewards program so maybe that helps to the accountability with my orders thus far.

"Terrible sweat pant fabric / objectifying adds"
I purchased sweatpants foe 25$ and washed them twice and they look terrible now! Also they hire 15 year ilds bur rheir adds are super sexualized and their adds make their « models look like street walkers/hookers» makes no sense?! Raise strong women not sex objects in cheap clothes…

"Worst customer service experience of my…"
Worst customer service experience of my life. I purchased a gift card which was not delivered by ups. Ups left a note sending me to a pickup location where the item could not be found. After many calls and visiting more than one ups pickup location no one had my item. I repurchases the gift card while awaiting a refund. While the mistake was likely on the part of UPS, UPS instructed me to contact the seller. Garage did nothing to resolve my issue and provide my refund. I even provided them evidence of the claim ticket UPS left. Every time i call they tell me it takes 10 business days to resolve these type of issues and it has now been 2 months. Each time I call customer service, the representative has told me it’s not their department. The issue is still unresolved 2 months later! I cannot believe I’m dealing with a major clothing line.

"WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, that one start I'm required to give is frustrating"
I ordered 2 flare leggings online, I got xs and they were still too big so I had to return them both in-person. I returned one because I forgot about the other one and I returned the second one 1 week later. I got my refund and my return receipt for the first time I went. Second time however, I gave the girl at the checkout counter the leggings and she said I would have my money on the same card right away I'm good to go. So I left because I thought I was getting my money quick like before. 1 whole day passed no money, so I went back, the manager said it should be 24-48 hours for me to receive my money and if I have any trouble I should call this number: *******138. I called them they said they were processing my refund should be 3-5 days, I waited 3-5 days and called on the 5th day, same thing, after calling 2-3 more times of the same cycle, still no update, I got an email saying " your refund is processing " I called again, they said I already got my refund on January 4th but that was my first return. And I'm like no I've made it clear I made the return on January 12 I need my refund for that, they said " oh we have been looking at the first return this whole time, let me open a new file for you " after that I called TWO MORE TIMES AND STILL NO REFUND ITS ALWAYS PROCESSING AND EVERY TIME I CALL THEY TELL ME TO WAIT 3 TO 5 BUSINESS DAYS, F&;'ttING SCAMERS

"Terrible communication from this company"
Terrible communication from this company ive never seen anything like it. Once they send out the package and have your money you get no updates at all. I realized it had been a long time since i ordered and still hadn’t recieved any of the items I purchased which I was having delivered to my house. So i find the tracking number in the one email they sent and find out it’s been at a UPS center for 4 days and there were never any delivery attempts. It literally says “reciever will pick up package at UPS location within 5 days” like what?? I NEVER agreed to go pick up the package and was never even sent an email by garage or UPS saying i needed to. And if I had waited one more day to check the status my items would have been returned to them. Plus the pick up location is all the way across the city i live in. I just think that’s so ridiculous and I will never be ordering from them again cause of the lack of communication and disregard for their customers. I just cant believe they didnt even let me know that my items wouldnt be delivered to where I ordered them to. Smh

Was trying to purchase few items. First time - took my money right after sending an error message that transaction is not completed due to "coupon error". Took a week to wait and went to place this same transaction wondering what is happening there. Same thing. Money is frozen as transaction is "pending" and no confirmation of the transaction as error is showing due to coupon? W..T...F. They are offering 30% off on the site just to ripped you at the end with an error that you can not buy it! I did contact their customer service and was told to refresh the site and do not use any coupons... I did not use any as their site is doing it automatically for me !!!!!!!! Money is frozen for next 5-10 days.. Be aware guys....they are loosing me as the customer for sure with their BS stories

"If I could give a lower star I would"
I used to LOVE garage & would be a regular very often. My clothes are 95% garage. Over the years the prices have gotten higher, yet the quality more $#*!tier.
Not to mention the whole vibe from 90% of any employee I ever came across, they are unhelpful and I dont know why but always moody towards me (I am never unkind to any retail person) but I always felt judged going in there (talk about resting $#*! face syndrome, must be a qualification on the resume).
Today, my experience with garage/dynamite clothing is the absolute last. I returned a pair of leggings I got online with a giftcard I had. I still haven't received it and it's been a month. I went in store 2x talked to someone on the phone and sent emails with no actually definitive response. It was a GIFT CARD how hard is it to just give a store credit right away?! What a joke company.

"I am quite shocked to see how low their…"
I am quite shocked to see how low their score is. I had nothing but an amazing experience with this company. They helped me every step of the way and constantly stayed in touch with me and sent me a return label, no problem. The cargo pants I ordered for my daughter were a size too big so I had to get a smaller size. They literally came so quick. This is an amazing company. The pants are so cute, great quality, and I will be shopping here regularly.

“It's similar to American Eagle, but it's a bit cheaper depending on what you're looking at. The jeans from Garage are cheaper but equal quality to American Eagle, but American Eagle has more options. The shirts from Garage are super soft and amazing material. Garage is probably my favourite store.”
